Are you VAT Registered?
Yes, we have been registered for VAT since October 2021. All our quotes, invoices and tenders will show an exclusive sum total as well as a tax inclusive total for the purpose of trading with business as well as domestic. VAT is not always charged at 20%, and is worth looking to see where VAT savings on what types of projects can apply. Our unique VAT number will be on all invoices for accountancy purposes.
What is your full trading name?
Our trading name is Forbes & Son Property Maintenance Ltd (SC680388). I have changed the name on the site and invoices to Forbes & Son Joinery & Building. This is because it is more reflective of the type of services we offer, rather than maintenance when i first started the business on my own.
Do you have insurance?
We certainly do. Public & Products liability, Employers liability, Contractors (all risks), Legal expenses and personal accident. We like to cover all bases so that in the event of an incident that requires cover, we have it covered and everyone is protected. Policy is available on request.
